Sickness

Following God's plan is excellent preventive medicine. It's in the Bible, Exodus 15:26, TLB. "If you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and obey it, and do what is right, then I will not make you suffer the diseases I sent on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you."

Worshipping the Lord brings freedom from sickness. It's in the Bible, Exodus 23:25, NIV. "Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you."

Jesus has the power to heal sickness. It's in the Bible, Matthew 4:23-24, TLB. "Jesus traveled all through Galilee teaching in the Jewish synagogues, everywhere preaching the Good News about the Kingdom of Heaven. And He healed every kind of sickness and disease. The report of His miracles spread far beyond the borders of Galilee so that sick folk were soon coming to be healed from as far away as Syria. And whatever their illness and pain, or if they were possessed by demons, or were insane, or paralyzed—He healed them all."

Healing comes from the Lord. It's in the Bible, Jeremiah 17:14, TLB. "Lord, you alone can heal me, you alone can save, and my praises are for You alone."

To experience healing from sickness follow God's plan. It's in the Bible, James 5:14-16, TLB. "Is anyone sick? He should call for the elders of the church and they should pray over him and pour a little oil upon him, calling on the Lord to heal him. And their prayer, if offered in faith, will heal him, for the Lord will make him well; and if his sickness was caused by some sin, the Lord will forgive him. Admit your faults to one another and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man has great power and wonderful results."

There will be no sickness in heaven. It's in the Bible, Isaiah 33:24, NIV. "No one living in Zion will say, 'I am ill’; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven."
