Waiting

Waiting on God, pushes us to seek after Him. It's in the Bible, Lamentations 3:25-26, NKJV. "The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.

It is for our good that God has us wait. It’s in the Bible, Lamentations 3:26, NKJV. “It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord"

Waiting on God in spite of what we see, strengthens our faith in Him. It's in the Bible, Romans 8:24-25, NKJV. “For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.”

Wait for God by trusting He will keep His Word, the Bible. It's in the Bible, Psalm 130:5-6, NKJV. “I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning— yes, more than those who watch for the morning."

Sometimes God says “wait” before He answers us. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 40:1, NKJV. “I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry.”

Don’t become impatient or discouraged, keep faith in God. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 27:14, NKJV. “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!’

Waiting on God will give us more strength than anything else can. It's in the Bible, Isaiah 40:30-31, NKJV. "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

Don’t succumb to revenge, God will take care of you. It’s in the Bible¸ Proverbs 20:22, NKJV. “Do not say, ‘I will recompense evil’; wait for the LORD, and He will save you.

We need to give God time, if we’re going to hear His still small voice. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 46:10, NKJV. “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

What can I do while I wait? P.U.S.H. - pray until something happens. It's in the Bible, Luke 18:1, NKJV. "Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart"

Trust God, and wait on His promises, you’ll find all you need. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 37:4-5, NKJV. “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.”

God is waiting on us to give us blessings. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 30:18, NKJV. “ Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you; and therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for Him.”

Don't wait to do what you know is good. It's in the Bible, 2 Kings 7:9, NKJV. "Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king’s household.”

Wait for the Lord, not in fretful anxiety, but in undaunted faith and unshaken trust. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 62:1-2, NKJV. “Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Those who endure and wait on Jesus, will be those who are faithful to God. It's in the Bible, Revelation 14:12, NKJV. “Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”

One day, we will finally see Jesus, whom we have waited for. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 25:9, NKJV. “And it will be said in that day: ‘Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.’”

Wait for Him, you can’t even imagine what He can do for you. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 64:4, NKJV. “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
